Terms of Service
Version 1.2 — effective July 24, 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of callbison.com and CallBison's intake, referral, and appointment-coordination services. "CallBison," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Heegstra LLC, the U.S. company that operates the CallBison brand. We point you to these terms wherever you submit a request or book — by a notice next to the form's final submit button and in our booking confirmations, and by a short notice on intake calls and in chat. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
2. Independent referral and appointment service
CallBison is a brand of Heegstra LLC. CallBison provides customer intake, referral, routing, and appointment-coordination services. Neither CallBison nor Heegstra LLC is a plumbing contractor, and neither performs, estimates, prices, supervises, permits, invoices, collects payment for, or warrants plumbing work. When CallBison arranges an appointment, the matched provider is an independent third-party plumbing contractor — not an employee, agent, subcontractor, franchisee, or joint venturer of Heegstra LLC. The provider is solely responsible for confirming that it holds every license and permit required at the service address and for inspecting, estimating, pricing, contracting for, performing, invoicing, collecting payment for, and warranting its work. You contract directly with and pay the provider. CallBison may receive a fee from the provider when an appointment is kept; consumers are not charged for the referral. Provider availability depends on the service address and licensed-contractor coverage. Except as required by law, Heegstra LLC does not guarantee provider availability, estimates, workmanship, outcomes, or warranties.
3. How CallBison works and gets paid
- You tell us what you need. We check whether your address is in an area we serve and arrange an appointment with one available independent plumbing company for that job. If you contact us again later, you may be matched with a different company.
- We select the company based on factors including availability, your service address, and its service area and verified credentials — not on payments for placement in a ranking. We match each job to a company whose applicable business and trade credentials CallBison checked at onboarding and periodically thereafter; credential status can change between checks, and the company remains responsible for ensuring that the people performing the work, the permits, and the supervision satisfy current law.
- Participating plumbing companies pay CallBison a fee for qualified kept appointments. That fee is not added to your bill by CallBison; the provider sets its own prices.
- Who handles what: CallBison handles intake, matching, scheduling, and the privacy of what you share with us. The provider handles estimates, prices (including any trip or diagnostic charges), the customer contract, permits, the work itself, invoicing, payment, and warranties. Confirm pricing directly with the provider.
4. Appointments, confirmations, and cancellations
When we arrange an appointment, we will send a confirmation identifying the matched company by its full licensed business name and applicable license number. The provider confirms scope, price, permits, payment terms, and warranty directly with you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, tell us or the provider as soon as possible. We do not guarantee that a provider will be available for any particular time, area, or job, and we may decline or cancel a request — for example, outside the service area or where no licensed provider is available.
Emergencies: CallBison is not an emergency dispatch service. Call 911 for immediate danger to life or safety. For a suspected gas leak, leave the area and call 911 or your gas utility from a safe location. For active flooding, shut off the water only if it is safe to do so and contact your water utility or an emergency plumber.
5. Service area
CallBison operates in selected local service areas, which may change at any time. Whether we can arrange an appointment is confirmed when you contact us, based on your service address and licensed-contractor coverage. Any coverage information on our website or in our advertising is indicative only and subject to change.
6. Your information, calls, and service communications
Information you submit must be accurate and yours to provide; if you provide information about someone else (for example, a tenant or family member), you must be authorized to do so. Our Privacy Notice explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we share your request details with the one plumbing company matched to your job.
Calls with CallBison may be recorded and transcribed. If a call will be recorded or transcribed, we let you know at the beginning of the call, before we discuss your request; continuing after that notice records your consent to the extent permitted by law. If you prefer not to be recorded, tell us and we will help you another way where operationally feasible. Please do not read out payment-card numbers or share other sensitive data on calls or in chat.
Service communications are automatic when you request service: by submitting a request through a form that displays our communications notice, or by asking us to arrange an appointment after the equivalent notice on a call or in chat, you agree that we may contact you about that request by phone, email, automated SMS, and WhatsApp at the number you provide (confirmations, scheduling changes, arrival updates, and similar service messages). You opt in to WhatsApp service messages when you submit a form that expressly names WhatsApp, clearly agree after the disclosure on a recorded call or in a recorded chat, or message CallBison first through WhatsApp. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Provide a mobile number at which you are the subscriber or customary user. If someone else should receive messages, we will obtain that person's own consent first.
A STOP message or other reasonable revocation ends CallBison's automated SMS and WhatsApp messages to that number, including service and marketing messages, unless you clearly ask to stop only a specific channel or category. We may send one non-marketing confirmation permitted by law, and essential appointment updates will then use an available channel you have not stopped. Not receiving SMS or WhatsApp messages never affects whether we arrange your appointment.
7. Marketing messages
Email: if you provide an email address when requesting service, we may also send occasional emails about CallBison services and offers. Every marketing email has a working unsubscribe, and service emails about your appointment are not affected by a marketing opt-out.
Marketing texts and WhatsApp marketing require separate affirmative permission. The service-request agreement in Section 6 does not authorize marketing. We send recurring automated marketing texts only after you actively select a separate marketing choice that starts unselected on a form or use another legally valid written method. We send WhatsApp marketing only after you separately agree following a clear disclosure on a form, recorded call, or recorded chat. Marketing consent is never a condition of requesting or receiving service. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end automated messages or HELP for help; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. WhatsApp is a Meta Platforms service, and its own terms and privacy policy also apply. Details for every channel are in the Privacy Notice.
8. Acceptable use
Use the site and service only for lawful purposes and genuine service requests. Do not submit false, duplicate, or bad-faith requests or appointments (real appointments cost the matched provider money); do not interfere with the site's operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, introduce harmful code, impersonate anyone, scrape at a disruptive scale, or place an unreasonable load on the service. We may refuse or cancel service for abuse.
9. Website content
Unless stated otherwise, the site's text, design, branding, graphics, and code belong to us or are used with permission. You may browse the site, link to its public pages, and quote short portions with attribution. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, or commercially exploit substantial parts of it without written permission.
10. Problems and complaints
The plumbing company is primarily responsible for its estimates, prices, work, warranties, and personnel — those sit under your contract with it. CallBison remains responsible for its own statements, matching and coordination conduct, communications, and handling of your information. Tell us about any problem at info@callbison.com or the phone number shown on our website, so we can document it, address anything within CallBison's control, and help route the rest to the provider. Nothing in this section limits a right or remedy available to you under applicable law.
11. Third-party services and links
The site and our communications may link to or use services operated by other organizations. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices; we do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or handling of information. Your relationship with the matched provider is governed by your agreement with that provider.
12. Disclaimers and liability
The website and our coordination service are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law: we do not promise the site or service will always be available, error-free, secure, or fully current; we do not guarantee any provider's availability, estimates, pricing, workmanship, outcomes, or warranties; and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or our free-to-consumers service. Nothing in these terms disclaims CallBison's responsibility for its own statements, material misrepresentation, or negligence, and nothing excludes or limits liability or rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
13. Governing law
For a service request, these terms are governed by the law of the U.S. state in which the service address submitted for that request is located, determined when the request is submitted, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For site use not tied to a submitted service address, ordinary choice-of-law rules apply. This does not remove protections that applicable law does not allow you to waive. Please contact us first if a problem arises so we can try to resolve it directly.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The version and last-updated date show when the current terms took effect; changes apply prospectively. Questions may be sent to info@callbison.com or by mail to Heegstra LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
